Handsomely Suited meets Many Messages

Thank you for joining me today!

Happy Birthday Leigh

An easy card to make with virtually no stamping. I've also found a way of getting my images correct for the new many messages stamp, if you have a Stampartus.
The trick is to die cut first, position the stamp in the stamparatus over the negative of the die cuts, then place the die cuts inside and stamp. For the tee shirt collar use the layering circle dies. Sorry about the retired embossing folder but I don't seem able to stop using it!

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic black, basic white
Designer Series Paper: well suited
Dies: messages, suite & tie, layering circles (3)
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D, tasteful textiles 3D
Embossing Powder: black
Ink: versamark
Stamp Sets: handsomely suited, many messages
Accessories: scoreboard (for ribbed section of the tee shirt).
* = retired, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest.

Hope you liked today's card. If you would like more information on how to make it, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to hear from you.

Hand made background using meshing and sponge daubers

Thank you for joining me today!

My sister-in-law fell and broke her shoulder the other day so I've made a thinking of you card as I feel her pain and wanted to make her smile!
With me it was a chipped bone in my foot and 2 broken wrists (fell down our stairs) ouch. So glad they mend.

I watched a video the other day from "AStampAbove.com" demonstrating the drywall tape technique but didn't have any so did it with some mesh I had in my stash and I was really pleased with the result, what do you think!

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic black, pale papaya, shimmery white
Dies: meadow
Ink: fresh freesia, memento black, pale papaya
Ribbon: bakers twine essentials
Stamp Sets: *a touch of ink

* = retired

Now thanks to my lovely son-in-law I have some drywall tape so will have go at the technique again in the near future.

Beautiful Moments meets Field of Flowers

Thank you for joining me today!

Have a great Birthday Idwin!

I'm into clean and simple cards just now and loving them.
This one is a CASe from Mary Deatherage at stampsnlingers.com with a couple of things added on.

It was a fairly easy card to make using the samparatus to get the two layers in exactly the same position. Mary explains how to do it on her blog. Sadly the field of flowers stamp set has now retired but I think it's one that may stay on my shelf forever.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, highland heather
Dies: stitched so sweetly rectangle (4)
Ink: highland heather, pear pizzazz, so saffron
Ribbon: *forever fern combo
Stamp Sets: *field of flowers, beautiful moments
Accessories: *gingham gala sequins
* = retired, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Hope you liked today's card. If you would like more information on how to make it, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to hear from you.

In Bloom meets Pierced Blooms

Thank you for joining me today!

A floral card this week for Sue, with a new technique for me called "alcohol colour wash on vellum", and it looks so cool!

The background uses the vellum, stampin' blends and the Isopropyl alcohol and it needs to be at least 95% or the vellum will just curl up. There's a video on u-tube by Jan B on how to do it.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, highland heather, vellum
Dies: pierced blooms
Ink: highland heather
Ribbon: *everyday enchantment organdy
Stampin' Blends: highland heather, old olive
Stamp Sets: In bloom
Accessories: basic rhinestones
* = retired

Hope you liked today's card. If you would like more information on how to make it, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to hear from you.

Zany Zebras waterfall card

Thank you for joining me today!

Happy 3rd Birthday Freddie, where does the time go!

This is my version of a card created by Lisa Cursio (lisasstampstudio.com) I had to make it a little bit bigger, hence the scalloped base for the card (nsu). Once I worked out the measurements I wanted, it was very straight forward to complete. At the time of making this card only the ribbon and tag punch were retired.

I think this is the best waterfall card I've made so far!
Sorry it's a bit photo heavy.

There is also a zebra stamped on the pull mechanism, just loved this set and didn't get to use it as much as I'd have liked to.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, calypso coral, night of navy
Designer Series Paper: *playing with patterns
Dies: playful alphabet *stitched shaped frames (4)
Embossing Folders: hammered metal 3D
Ink: calypso coral, coastal cabana, crushed curry, night of navy
Punches: *classic label, *scallop tag topper
Ribbon: *sycamore street satin
Stampin' Markers: calypso coral, coastal cabana, crushed curry, night of navy
Stamp Sets:  a grand kid, *family party, *zany zebras
* = retired, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
