My inspiration for this card was taken from Pinterest

Materials required for this card are:

Card stock: whisper white

DSP: playing with patterns

Dies:playful alphabet

Embossing Powder: silver

Ink: gorgeous grape, versamark

Stampin' blends: highland heather, *pineapple punch, purple posy

Stamp sets: a grand kid, family party, *piece of cake, posted for you,

Piece of Cake meets Tufted

Hello, and thank you for stopping today

Happy birthday Ashlie!

What do you do when they start getting older? I find it harder to come up with ideas.

Measurements are in centimetres, (cs) = card stock, (dsp) = designer series paper, (ef) = embossing folder, (ep) = embossing powder), (r) = retired, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest.

Card base is 14.85 x 21 scored at 10.5, (r) winter frost (dsp) 14.85 x 4.5, so saffron (cs) strip 14.85 x 1, whisper white (cs) 9 x 6.5 (plain oval), silver foil 9.5 x 7 (scalloped oval),  scrap whisper white (cake) and (sentiment), scrap silver foil (cake base), scrap pool party and so saffron (label).

Colours are, coastal cabana, pool party, so saffron, memento tuxedo black (use of all outline stamping).

1. With the tufted (ef) emboss the first 6 centimetres of the card base, adhere the (r) winter frost (dsp) down the left hand side and add the so saffron strip using liquid glue. Now add the glittered organza ribbon on top of the so saffron strip and tidy up the edges. I used snail to attach the ribbon.
2. Stamp all the outline pieces using the piece of cake (ss) the candles are stamped on the whisper white (cs) for the oval.
3. Using the layering ovals dies, die cut the plain oval (6) and the scalloped oval (7).
4. The happy birthday sentiment was stamped using coastal cabana ink and heat embossed using clear (ep). Once embossed cut using the classic label punch. Then cut 2 more labels, one each of pool party and so saffron. Cut these two labels in half and adhere to the sentiment label at each end using liquid glue.
5. Adhere the scalloped oval to the card base using liquid glue.
6. Using stampin' blends colour the candles and cake, then add some clear wink of stella to the flowers and flames. Now cut both the cake and the cake stand using the cake builder punch.
7. Attach both the cake and cake stand using dimensional pads.
8. Then using dimensional pads attach both the plain oval, and the sentiment.

Piece of Cake meets Swirly Frames

This is the last of the birthday cards for this year, so I hope you like it.

To recreate this card follow the guide below:
(dsp) = designer series paper, ⓡ = retired, (ss) = stamp set.

All measurements are in centimetres

Card Stock: Blueberry Bushel 29.7 x 10.5 scored at 14.8 (card base)
Whisper White 2 pieces  13.6 x 9.3 (layer 2), 4 x 5.5 (cake & stand)
DSP: In Colors 2018/20 14.2 x 9.9 (layer 1)
Embossing Folders: Brick & Mortar
Punches: Cake Builder
Stamp Sets: ⓡ Amazing Life, Piece of Cake, Swirly Frames

Adhere the in color (dsp) to the card base.
Working with layer 2, the swirly frames (ss) and stampin' pads, stamp some shapes using blueberry bushel, granny apple green and terracotta tile. 
With the ⓡ amazing life (ss) stamp the sentiment in blueberry bushel and use a terracotta tile marker to fill in the word Cake.
Emboss this layer with the brick & mortar folder and adhere to the card base.
Now with the small piece of whisper white (cake & stand) stamp the cake in terracotta tile and the stand in blueberry bushel, use a granny apple green marker to fill in the cream layers on the cake and the top, bottom and middle of the stand. then with a blender pen and balmy blue (slightly watered down) fill in the rest of the stand.
Punch these out using the cake builder punch and attach to the card using dimensional pads.
