Brewed for you meets Inked Botanicals

Intermediate man card - die cutting, dry & heat embossing, layerings, two step stamping 

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic black & white, crushed curry
Designer Series Paper: *beautifully penned, inked botanicals
Dies: brewed
Embossing Folders: basics 3D
Embossing Powder: black
Ink: memento black, crushed curry, versaMark
Stamps: brewed for you
Accessories: bakers twine

  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, 1st matt layer 10 x 14, dsp layer 9.5 x 13.5, strip 2 x 10, white off cuts for stamping
  2. dry emboss the dsp layer and adhere it to the 1st layer using liquid glue
  3. adhere the strip towards the bottom using liquid glue, then add the bakers twine tying with a knot
  4. adhere this section to the base card using liquid glue
  5. stamp the sentiment using versaMark and heat emboss in black, fussy cut round the sentiment and attach to the card using dimensional pads
  6. stamp the glass outline's and the beer heads in memento black then in fill the glasses with crushed curry.
  7. die cut the these pieces, adhere the beer heads to the top of the glasses using liquid glue, then attach the glasses to the base card

Celebrating You meets Rays of Light

I wasn't going to get the 'ray's of light' stamp, but I'm so glad I did. This was a fairly quick and easy card to make, and that's just how i like them. stamping, die cutting and heat embossing.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, highland heather
Dies: meadow
Ink: highland heather, versaMark
Punches: banner pick a punch
Stampin' Up Blends: highland heather
Stamp Sets: celebrating you, rays of light
Accessories: bakers twine, white embossing powder
  1. base card 14.8 x 21 scored at 10.5 
  2. stamp the ray of lights onto a piece of white card stock and trim to 9.5 x 13.8
  3. die cut the flowers in white 
  4. using a strip of highland heather 2 x 9 stamp the sentiment in versaMark and heat emboss
  5. use the punch to create the tails
  6. colour the bakers twine using the stampin' blends and create a bow.
  7. adhere the first layer using wet glue, arrange the flowers and sentiment then attach with dimensionals
  8. attach the bow using a glue dot.

Natures Beauty meets Ranunculus Romance

and  thank you for joining me today!

Well it's now Pauls 27th week.
If you're not a follower, Paul delivers our weekly Sunday dinner each Tuesday. I know, but he doesn't work at weekends.


The idea for this card came from a 'Brandy Cox' video I watched but i made it square with a dsp background and there's no heat embossing.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: soft suede, very vanilla thick
Designer Series Paper: *peaceful prints
Dies: stitched rectangles (4)N
Embossing Folders: stripes & splatters 3D
Ink: soft suede
Stamp Sets: nature's beauty, ranunculus romance
Accessories: bakers twine essentials pack

Peaceful Moments meets Love of Leaves

 Thank you for joining me today!

Well hello, Wednesday has now become our new Sunday!
Confused, don't be our day for having a cooked meal delivered has had to change as our new guy Paul doesn't do Sundays. I say new guy but he owned and ran the local Tearooms before our beloved Sue and we know his meals are just as lovely.


Going for a masculine look, but not sure I got there! The stitched leaves dies are just amazing, There's one die that reminds me of an American sky line.

Color & Contours meets Art Gallery

A clean and simple look today, with 2 step stamping and little die cutting.
The one thing I did do was to cut down the base card to 13.8 (5 7/16) in height to create an even border all round.

Thought I  would try the new decorative masks for this one, and loved them! Some of the elements are no longer available but can be easily swapped out for up to date product!

Hand-Penned Petals meets Many Messages

Just love all these new colours, they're just beautiful together (even the vibrant pink). Takes some getting used to the arty type of 2 set stamping but once the card is made it looks perfect.

Timeless Tulips meets Teeny Tiny Sentiments

It's an Easter card for Sue this week!


It's been a while since this set came out to play and it's quite simple to make.
 
Stamp the tulips and die cut using an oval, stamp an extra tulip & leaf and punch them out, die cut an opening in the 1st layer, die cut a border, emboss the 1st layer, add the dsp and ribbon, attach to base card and insert the tulips, add the sentiment and ribbon.

Card Stock: basic white, so saffron
Designer Series Paper: butterfly bijou
Dies: layering ovals (s7), floral gallery, stitched shapes (04)
Embossing Folders: brick & mortar
Ink: old olive, memento tuxedo black, so saffron

Accessories: bakers twine, fine tip glue pen
