Color & Contour meets Meadow dies

Intermediate level - colouring, die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping, 

Cased from Wendy Lee 'Creativeleeyours!.com'

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic white, misty moonlight, smoky slate
Dies: *scalloped contours
Embossing Folders: *tasteful textile 3D
Ink: basic grey, misty moonlight, smoky slate
Stamps: *color & contour
Accessories: *silver cord, *tinsel gems 3 pack, wink of stella
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 15 x 21 scored at 10.5, blue (layer) 14.5 x 10, (flowers) 4 x 14, smoky slate flowers 5 x 11, white (layer) 14.5 x 8), (flowers) 5.5 x 10.5
  1. dry emboss the the blue layer and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  2. die cut the white layer
  3. stamp the white flowers using basic grey ink
  4. die cut the blue, smoky slate and white flowers
  5. do the stamping on the white layer - (sentiment, splats and leaf)
  6. add a little smoky slate to a clear block -, then use the wink of stella to gently colour the white flowers
  7. adhere white layer to the base card using liquid glue
  8. adhere the blue and grey background flowers using liquid glue
  9. attach the the white flowers using dimensional pads
  10. make a bow and attach using a glue dot
  11. add the gems

Quiet Meadow meets Sentimental Park

Intermediate easy - die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, bubble bath
Dies: deckled rectangles (7), meadow
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D, timeworn type 3D, twisted rope 3D
Ink: bubble bath
Stamps: quiet meadow, sentimental park
Accessories: iridescent pearls, sheer ribbon
 
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 21 x 14.5 scored at 10.5,white matt 14.5 x 10.5, basic white scraps for die cutting and stamping
  2. stamp the flower from the quiet meadow set straight onto the base card using the stamped off method
  3. use the twisted rope folder to emboss the front of the base card
  4. die cut the rectangle from the white matt and emboss using the timeworn type folder
  5. stamp the sentiment
  6. die cut the flowers, butterfly and sentiment
  7. add the ribbon behind the sentiment and attach to the card base at the edge on both sides using glue dots
  8. attach the matt to the base card using dimensional pads
  9. adhere the flowers and butterfly to the base card, tucking the stems behind the sentiment
  10. add the pearls

Go To Greetings meets Nested Essentials

Sympathy card for Peggy

After losing my Father 4 weeks ago at the grand old age of 91, one of his close friends and neighbour has also lost her son of only 49. My heart goes out to her.


Dry and heat embossing, die cutting and stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, pool party
Designer Series Paper: *simply marbleous
Dies: meadow, nested essentials (3)
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D, *subtle 3D (this is my go to, for a linen effect)
Ink: pool party, versamark
Punches: banner picka a punch
Stamp Sets: go to greetings
Accessories: bakers twine essentials, basic rhinestones
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, white panel 10 x 14 and a strip of white card 7.5 x 1.2 (for sentiment)
  2. dry emboss the white panel using the exposed brick folder
  3. Ink up the sentiment in versamark and pool party in that order before stamping, then cover in embossing powder before using a heat gun
  4. Use the punch to flag each end of the sentiment
  5. die cut all the elements needed (4 in all)
  6. adhere the dsp rectangle to the white panel using liquid glue
  7. emboss the flowers, sentiment and butterfly using the subtle 3D folder
  8. adhere the flowers using liquid glue
  9. wrap the bakers twine 3 times around the white panel toward the bottom
  10. attach the sentiment using dimensional pads
  11. adhere the butterfly using liquid glue
  12. add the rhinestones.

Go To Greetings meets Two-Tone Flora

This was the first time of using this bundle and I was pleasantly surprised how nice it all comes together. The ribbon is a real blast from the past though.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, rich razzleberry
Designer Series Paper: dainty flowers (sab)
Dies: meadow, two-tone flora
Ink: blushing bride, old olive, rich razzleberry
Stampin' Up Blends: old olive
Stamp Sets: go to greetings, two-tone flora
Accessories: *grosgrain stitched ribbon
 
* = no longer available, (sab) = sale-a-bration item
  1. base card 21 x 14.5 scored at 10.5
  2. stamp the flowers, leaves and sentiment
  3. die cut the background, flowers, leaves and sentiment
  4. trim down the background to just a narrow edge (roughly 10 x 14)
  5. cut a piece of the dsp to fit behind the background and adhere using wet glue
  6. Adhere the background to the base card using wet glue
  7. adhere the leaves, flowers and sentiment using wet glue
  8. make a bow and attach using glue dots
