Love & Happiness meets lots of dies

  Welcome to my blog

and  thank you for joining me today!

Anniversary cards for June



Quick and easy card, mostly die cutting, blending and a little stamping.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, shimmery white
Dies: *botanical builder, brilliant wings, *detailed floral
Ink: fresh freesia, misty moonlight, old olive, *polished pink
Stampin' Markers: misty moonlight
Stamp Sets: *love & happiness
Accessories: *adhesive backed sequins, *large basic pearls, blending brushes,

  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, basic white 10.5 x 14.5 (twice), shimmery white 10.5 x 14.5 
  2. die cut the top layer using shimmery white and ink up the sentiment on the left omitting the bottom row using the marker pen
  3. using the inks and blending brushes cover the basic white background and spare
  4. using liquid glue adhere the top layer to the background layer
  5. attach these two layers to the base card using dimensionals
  6. die cut the butterfly background or flower using the spare 14.5 10.5 
  7. die cut the delicate butter if required and adhere together with liquid glue
  8. add either a large pearl or adhesive sequins

Butterfly Wings meets Go to Greetings

Happy Birthday Ashlie


Used a layout from Pinterest, using different products.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, merry mertot
Designer Series Paper: *hydrangea hill mercury glass
Dies: brilliant wings, potted succulents
Ink: merry merlot
Punches: double oval
Stamp Sets: go to greetings
Accessories: metallic mesh ribbon, rhinestone basics

  1. base card 14.2 x 21 scored at 10.5, mercury glass 10.2 x 13.3 white matt 10.5 x 13.8
  2. die cut the white matt using the plate from potted succulent dies
  3. adhere the white die cut matt to the mercury glass using wet glue and trim round the edges
  4. wrap the mesh ribbon around the layered matts and tie with a bow, then adhere to base card using a strong adhesive tape
  5. die cut the intricate butterfly and the corresponding full butterfly, then adhere the two together by the body using wet glue
  6. stamp the sentiment and punch it out, then punch the corresponding scallop oval and adhere the two together using wet glue
  7. add a couple of strips of the mesh across the top of the card diagonally using adhesive tape, then attach the butterfly also using adhesive tape
  8. add the sentiment to the right of the bow using dimensionals
  9. add the rhinestones

Days to Remember, meets Brilliant Wings

Came up with this card about 2 o'clock in the morning when I couldn't sleep. It's not quite what I had in mind, the layout needed to be slightly changed once the elements were all cut, still like it though.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: *shimmer vellum, shimmery white
Dies: brilliant wings, floral gallery, layering circles (2 & 2s), *well written
Embossing Folders: painted texture 3D
Ink: fresh freesia
Stamp Sets: butterfly brilliance, days to remember
Accessories: *21/23 in color jewels

A quick and easy card, no stamping involved, only die cutting, designer series paper,  a little ribbon and rhinestones. 10 minutes and you're done.

Designer Series Paper: beautifully penned
Dies: brilliant wings 
Ribbons: *scalloped edge
Accessories: holiday rhinestones
The happy birthday isn't SU (sorry)

This is my take on a Christmas layout created by Amanda Fowler.  It's quick and easy to make using one piece of 6"x6" designer series paper and 2 off set diagonal cuts which lets you create 4 cards.

Card Stock: basic white, fresh freesia, vellum
Designer Series Paper: in color 21-23
Dies: brilliant wings, stitched so sweetly
Embossing Folders: ornate floral
Embossing Powder: white
Ink: versamark
Ribbon: crinkled seam binding

Very Versailles and much more!

It's another one for Sue, Kevin said last week they still don't know yet when they'll be moving. Sad for them but great for us, we love our Sunday dinners, this is now week 65.
