Nature's Beauty meets Oceanfront and On the Horizon

  Welcome to my blog

and  thank you for joining me today!

Happy Easter to Stuart, Rachael & Freddie

Card Two for today.

First outing for a couple of these sets and I love them both.

All the stamping is second generation for the main picture, the rabbit and sentiment are stamped on an off cut in full strength, the rabbit is then shaded using blends, then fussy cut the sentiment & rabbit, die cut the two frames, emboss the background, stamp the grass onto the rabbit roughly where you want it to sit and colour the edges with a marker,  add some linen thread behind the sentiment and layer all elements.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, smoky slate
Dies: stitched rectangles (5,6)W
Embossing Folders: gingham, *subtle 3D (rabbit)
Ink: granny apple green, mossy meadow, night of navy, pear pizzazz,
smoky slate, soft suede
Stampin' Markers: soft suede (edge for rabbit)
Stampin' Up Blends: crumb cake
Stamp Sets: nature's beauty, oceanfront, on the horizon
Accessories: linen thread

* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest, N = narrow, W = wide
