Gentle Waves meets Let's Set Sail

Happy Birthday Nigel


Stamp the background, boat piece's and sentiment. Punch out the pieces for the boat, die cut the sentiment and 
a vellum circle. Wrap the baker's twine around the card and tie with a long tailed bow. Added a background border, attach the boat to the vellum circle then add the polished dots.

Card Stock: basic white, misty moonlight, vellum
Dies: layering circles (6), stitched rectangles (1)w
Embossing Folders:
Ink: cherry cobbler, misty moonlight, smoky slate
Punches: sailboat builder

The dsp is embossed at the bottom, the hedgehop background is blended along with the edging of the card base and the rest is stamped and punched out, with a little ribbon thrown in for good measure.

Nature's Beauty meets Oceanfront and On the Horizon

Card Two for today.

First outing for a couple of these sets and I love them both.

All the stamping is second generation for the main picture, the rabbit and sentiment are stamped on an off cut in full strength, the rabbit is then shaded using blends, then fussy cut the sentiment & rabbit, die cut the two frames, emboss the background, stamp the grass onto the rabbit roughly where you want it to sit and colour the edges with a marker,  add some linen thread behind the sentiment and layer all elements.

This card was originally created by 'Kim Singdahlsen' and I just tweaked it a little.

Start by doing all the die cutting, stamp the sentiment, emboss the background, add the ribbon, tie the knot, place the elements, add the rhinestones

Love this rainbow set. Just sorry it's not making it into the new catalogue, but I suppose we can't keep everything.

It's an easy make, dsp for the background, die cut the frame and two sets of clouds, stamp the rainbow and sentiment, emboss then add the clouds and raindrops.
Inspiration for this card came from a card made by Amanda Mertz.
