Birthday Celebrations meets Lovely Arrangements

Intermediate level - die cutting, layering, fussy cutting, splatting, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

 

Bundles: *birthday celebrations, lovely arrangements

Card Stock: basic black & white, crisp cantaloupe, peaceful pine

Designer Series Paper: *beautifully penned, *irresistibly yours, 

Ink: crisp cantaloupe

Stamps: fabulous sayings

Accessories: drusy embellishments, adhesive sheets

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, black layer 10 x 14, dotted dsp layer 9.5 x 13.5, white dsp layer 9.5 x 7, leaves 5 x 8, flowers 13 x 5, sentiment 10.5 x 3.5, white numbers & banner 4 x 7, crisp cantaloupe numbers 4 x 5

1. die cut the circles from lovely arrangements dies, in the centre of the black layer 
2. adhere the dotted layer to the black layer using liquid glue
3. adhere one row of the circles plus one extra circle to the bottom of white layer creating a scalloped edge using liquid glue (trim off the excess)
4. adhere this to the top of the dsp layer using liquid glue
5. stamp the happy birthday and fussy cut it, separating the two words
6. stamp the flowers
7. stamp the TH, then cut off from the rest of the piece of card
8. add adhesive sheeting to the back of the white and crisp cantaloupe pieces
9. die cut all the pieces
10. attach the happy and th banner using dimensional pads
11. remove the backing from the numbers and adhere them together slightly shadowed, then adhere to the card
12. adhere the first flower to the card using liquid glue
13. attach the other flowers using dimensional pad
14. adhere the leaves using liquid glue
15. attach the birthday with dimensional pads
16. tap your wink of stella brush against its lid over the card for a little shimmer
17. add the embelishments

Blast from the Past Golden Wedding

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary Jean & Gareth

Intermediate level - die cutting, double punching, dry & heat embossing, layering, punching, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

 

Bundles: *birthday celebration

Card Stock: basic white, gold foil

Dies: *bloomin' hearts

Embossing Folders: *falling petals

Embossing Powder: gold

Ink: versaMark

Punches: three banner

Stamps: *memorable moments

Accessories: adhesive sheets, *gilded gems*open weave trim

Start with a basic card base 14.85 x 21 scored at 10.5, white 14.35 x 10 embossed layer, 10.5 x 10 heart, 6.5 x 2 (need 2) sentiments, 3 x 2 banner, gold 5 x 4 numbers

1. dry emboss the largest layer
2. add adhesive sheeting to the back of the numbers layer
3. stamp the sentiments and TH using versaMark ink, then heat emboss using gold embossing powder
4. die cut the numbers, heart and TH banner 
5. punch out the Anniversary sentiment
6. punch out the happy lining up the H toward the left side, then attach to  a sticky note upside down and re punch lining up the y to the left side
7. wrap some ribbon across the embossed layer and adhere it at the back using tear & tape
8. attach the heart and both sentiments using dimensional pads
9. remove the sheeting from the numbers and adhere to the heart, making sure the TH banner is tucked behind the 0
10. create a bow with long tails and adhere to the card using a glue dot
11. wrap the tails behind this layer and adhere with tape
12. adhere this layer to the base card using liquid glue
13. add the gems

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, white panel 14 x 10, 5.5 x 8 sentiment backing, 3.5 x 2 banner, 5 x 4 numbers, 4.5 x 4.5 circle sentiment, secret sea 8.5 x 5 sentiment, 5 x 4 numbers, cherry cobbler 4.5 x 4.5 scallop circle, 6 x 2.5, 8.5 x 3 sentiment backing

1. dry enboss the white panel and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
2. stamp the round sentiment and the TH
3. add adhesive sheeting on the back of the blue pieces
4. die cut all the peices
5. with the white sentiment background carefully separate the happy from the birthday using scissors 
6. remove the backing from HB pieces and stick down on the white backgrounds
7. adhere the round sentiment to the scalloped circle and the HB sentiments to the cherry cobbler pieces using liquid glue
8. adhere the happy birthday and TH banner to the base card using liquid glue
9. remove the backing from the numbers and stick down
10. attach the round sentiment to the base card using dimensional pads

Birthday Celebration Bundle and more

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: birthday celebration

Card Stock: basic white & black, *gold foil

Designer Series Paper: *pattern party

Dies: *christmas trimmings

Embossing Folders: forever plaid 3D

Ink: momento tuxedo black

Stamps: *irresistible blooms

Accessories: *brushed metallic dots

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, banner 9 x 6.5, 10 x 14, black dsp layer 9.6 x 11.6, foil 5 x 7, white off cuts for stamping

1. die cut the two banners and star.
2. dry emboss the larger banner
3. cut the dsp rectangle diagonally in half and adhere it to the black layer using liquid glue
4. adhere this to the base card, again using liquid glue
5. stamp the two sentiments and fussy cut round them 
6. attach them to the black banner using dimensional pads
7. adhere the star and small banner at the back of the larger banner using liquid glue
8. now adhere this to the base card using liquid glue
9. add the metallic dots

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: birthday celebration

Card Stock: night of navy, *tranquil tide, very vanilla. 

Designer Series Paper: *true gentleman

Embossing Folders: mini corrugated 3D

Ink: night of navy

Punches: *tailored tag

Stamps: *truly tailored

Accessories: *ab milky dots, adhesive sheets

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, very vanilla 10.1 x 9.5, dsp 10.1 x 5, very vanilla 4.5 x 4 and tranquil tide 4.5 x 4scraps for die cutting

1. dry emboss the very vanilla layer
2. adhere this to the dsp layer to measure 10.1 14.1 using liquid glue
3. adhere the trim using tear & tape across the join
4. adhere this piece to the base card using liquid glue
5. punch the 2 tags, one tranquil tide and one very vanilla
6. stamp the sentiment on the very vanilla tag
7. cut the green tag in half and adhere to the sentiment tag as a border using liquid glue
8. stamp the TH
9. add adhesive sheeting to the back of the two 4.5 x 4 pieces and die cut the numbers and the TH
10. shadow the numbers together, then adhere to the base card
11. attach the TH and sentiment using dimensional tabs
12.  attach the dots

Bundles: birthday celebration

Card Stock: basic black & white

Designer Series Paper: *all together

Dies: *deckled circles (4), deckled rectangles (7)

Embossing Folders: plaster painting 3D

Ink: memento tuxedo black 

Stamps: spring corners

Accessories: *basic black rhinestones

Start with a base card 14 x 21 scored at 10.5, background layer 9.5 x 12.5, dsp 9.5 x 12.5, scraps for circle and banner

1. dry emboss the background layer
2. die cut the dsp rectangle and black circle
3. stamp the first sentiment around the side of the dsp layer
4. stamp the happy onto the dsp and the TH on white scrap
5. adhere the dsp layer to the background layer and then the background layer to base card using liquid glue
6. die cut the banner and numbers
7. adhere the numbers to the circle using liquid glue
8. attach the circle and banner to the base card using dimensional pads
9. add the rhinestones

Card Stock: basic black & white, garden green, real red

Dies: layering circles (7), *well written 

Ink: real red

accessories: adhesive sheets, computer generated dart board and dart

 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, background 14.1 x 10.5, white cs birthday, 8 x 10, happy 8.5 x 7 (you will need 3 of each word), real red cs numbers 5 x 4.5, off cut for white flag

1. adhere background to the base card using liquid glue
2. add adhesive sheeting to the back of the white and red cs for the happy birthday and numbers
3. die cut the 3 birthday, 3 happy and 1 numbers
4. layer up the birthday's and happy's
5. the dart board and dart were computer generated
6. fussy cut the dart, and die cut the dartboard
7. stamp the TH on the flag
8. position the elements on the card base then use dimension pads for the dartboard and flag
9. adhere the dart using liquid glue
10. attach the birthday, happy and numbers
