Thoughtful Wishes meets Phrases & Frames

Happy Anniversary to Sylvia & Bill


Intermediate level - die cutting, dry embossing, emphasis embossing, layering, paper piecing, stamping

Materials required for this card are:
 
Bundles: phrases & frames
Card Stock: basic white, bubble bath, soft sea foam
Dies: *cheerful daisies, *thoughtful wishes
Embossing Folders: forever plaid 3D, *subtle 3D
Ink: soft sea foam, secret sea
Vellum: berry botanical
Accessories: blending brush, impressions plate, linen thread, *rainbow dots

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, vellum 14 x 10, white 11.5 x 8.5 (frame),8 x 5.5 (branches), 7 x 3.5 (sentiment), green & pink 9.5 x 4.5 (flowered branch)
  1. dry emboss the vellum and add the linen thread
  2. adhere this to the base card using liquid glue (only where the sentiment and flowers will be)
  3. stamp the sentiment
  4. die cut the frame, then use the impressions plate to add emphasis to frame edge
  5. using the blending brush add a little colour to the middle of the frame
  6. dry emboss the middle of the frame and sentiment
  7. die cut the branches, flowers and sentiment
  8. cut the flowers off the pink sprig and adhere them to the green one using liquid glue
  9. adhere the frame to the base card using liquid glue
  10. adhere the branches and flowers using liquid glue
  11. attach the sentiment using dimensional pads
  12. make a double bow and attach using a glue dot
  13. add the dots

Thoughtful Wishes meet Charming Day

Happy Birthday Gladys


Intermediate level - die cutting, dry & heat embossing, insetting, layering, stamping 

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, vellum
Designer Series Paper: so very vellum
Dies: *countryside corners (2,5), *thoughtful wishes
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D
Embossing Powder: clear
Ink: fresh freesia, versaMark
Stampin' Blends: fresh freesia
Stamps: charming day
Accessories: *basic ab seqluins, blending brush, linen thread
 
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, plain vellum 10.1 x 14.1, so very vellum 6.5 x 10.5, plain vellum 7 x 3, basic white 7 x 3 (sentiment), 9.5 x 10 (flowers & leaves), soft sea foam 5 x 10 (leaves)
  1. die cut the rectangle in the towards the top  of the plain vellum, discarding the centre piece, then dry emboss using the folder
  2. lightly adhere to the base card using liquid glue 
  3. die cut another rectangle using the so very vellum, adhere this piece into the rectangle again using liqiud glue
  4. double ink the sentiment firstly in versaMark and then in fresh freesia, stamp, add embossing powder and heat
  5. die cut the sentiment and vellum overlay
  6. lightly adhere the overlay to the sentiment using liquid glue
  7. die cut the flowers and stems
  8. lightly colour the white leaves using a blending brush, leaving the leaves with flowers white
  9. colour the flowers using the stampin' blend 
  10. adhere these 3 layers together very lightly using liquid glue
  11. adhere to the base card the same way
  12. attach the sentiment to the base card using dimensional pads
  13. add the sequins
  14. make a bow with the linen thread and attach to the card using a glue dot

Unbounded Love meets Thoughtful Wishes

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry embossing, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: unbounded love
Card Stock: basic white, petunia pop
Designer Series Paper: 24/26 in colors
Dies: thoughtful wishes
Embossing Folders: dotted cirlcles 3D
Ink: petunia pop
Accessories: adhesive sheets, iridescent pearls
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5 and 18 (Z fold), dsp 14.5 x 10.5, pieces of white for die cutting and stamping
  2. dry emboss the dsp, then cut at 7.5, adhere the larger piece on the left side of the card front and the smaller piece on the right side of the card back using liquid glue
  3. stamp the sentiment
  4. die cut the element and sentiment 
  5. adhere the element and sentiment on the Z fold only using liquid glue 
  6. add the pearls
