Color & Contour meets Meadow dies

Intermediate level - colouring, die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping,

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic white, misty moonlight, smoky slate
Dies: *scalloped contours
Embossing Folders: *tasteful textile 3D
Ink: basic grey, misty moonlight, smoky slate
Stamps: *color & contour
Accessories: *silver cord, *tinsel gems 3 pack, wink of stella
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 15 x 21 scored at 10.5, blue (layer) 14.5 x 10, (flowers) 4 x 14, smoky slate flowers 5 x 11, white (layer) 14.5 x 8), (flowers) 5.5 x 10.5
  1. dry emboss the the blue layer and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  2. die cut the white layer
  3. stamp the white flowers using basic grey ink
  4. die cut the blue, smoky slate and white flowers
  5. do the stamping on the white layer - (sentiment, splats and leaf)
  6. add a little smoky slate to a clear block -, then use the wink of stella to gently colour the white flowers
  7. adhere white layer to the base card using liquid glue
  8. adhere the blue and grey background flowers using liquid glue
  9. attach the the white flowers using dimensional pads
  10. make a bow and attach using a glue dot
  11. add the gems

Card within a Card

Happy Birthday Cheryl

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry & heat embossing, layering, punching, stamping

Materials required for this card are:
 
Bundles: *irresistible blooms
Stock: basic white
Designer Series Paper: *perfectly artistic
Embossing Folders: soft waves 3D
Embossing Powder: white
Ink: lost lagoon, versaMark
Punches: happy labels
Stamps: charming day
Accessories: *tinsel gems 3 pack
 * = no longer available

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp 14 x 18 scored at 9, white 2 x 18
  1. dry emboss the front of the card and cut off 1cm on the right side
  2. adhere this piece to the inside back of the card
  3. die cut the front of the card using the circle die
  4. slot the dsp insert inside the card and stamp the flower using versaMark
  5. remove from the card, add the white embossing powder and heat
  6. re insert the dsp and adhere to the base card (along the back edge only)
  7. stamp the happy birthday from charming day and the friend sentiment from irresistible blooms 
  8. use the punch to finish off each edge
  9. attach the friend sentiment  to the front of the card
  10. adhere the happy birthday sentiment on the inside under the flower using liquid glue
  11. add the gems

Everyday Arches and More

Intermediate level - blending using alcohol markers, colouring frosted white ink, die cutting, dry embossing, fussy cutting, layering, stamping


Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: everyday arches (7)
Card Stock: basic white, crumb cake
Designer Series Paper: beautiful bokeh
Embossing Folders: dotted circles 3D
Ink: basic gray, calypso coral, gorgeous grape, 
Stampin' Blends: bubble bath, crumb cake
Stamps: arched wishes, simply said
Accessories: *tinsel gems, *all purpose frosted white ink
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, basic white 10.1 x 14.1, dsp 9 x 12, white off cut for stamping
  1. stamp the cake and colour the candle and cake base using the blends, then fussy cut it
  2. put a little calypso coral ink onto a glass block, add a small drop of the frosted white ink and blend using an aqua brush, then use it for the frosting part of the cake and leave it dry for a while
  3. dry emboss the white panel and adhere it to the base card using liquid glue
  4. die cut the arch and stamp the sentiments, attach to the card base using dimensional pads
  5. attach the cake using dimensional pads
  6. add the gems

Full of Life meets Wanted to Say

Easy - die cutting, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, shy shamrock
Designer Series Paper: full of life
Dies: something fancy, wanted to say
Ink: shy shamrock
Stamps: round we go
Accessories: adhesive sheets, note cards, tinsel gems 3 pack

All measurements are imperial not centimetres

Start with a SU note card blank, 5 by 3½, dsp 4¾ x 3¼, white and shy shamrock layers 3¼ x 2, white sentiment 2¾ x ¾
  1. add some adhesive sheet to the back of the shy shamrock
  2. die cut both he happy birthday shapes, then remove the adhesive sheeting and stick the two shapes together
  3. stamp the other sentiment and die cut using the label die
  4. attach both sentiments to the base card using dimensional pads
  5. add the  tinsel gems

Inspirational Sketches and more

Intermediate - die cutting, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, heart & home memories & more cards 7 envelopes (cut down), misty moonlight
Dies: deckled rectangles (5&8)*labels aglow, nested essentials (4)
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D
Ink: misty moonlight
Stamps: inspirational sketches, simply said, *woodgrain (second generation)
Accessories: Tinsel gems 3 pack
 
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Basic white 10.5 x 13.5, 6.5 x 8.5, off cut for sentiment, misty moonlight 7 x 9, 10.8 x 2.5
  2. stamp the woodgrain on the larger rectangle using second generation stamping for a lighter colour, the bird on the smaller white rectangle, and the sentiment on the off cut
  3. die cut the 3 rectangles
  4. emboss the bird rectangle and the blue band
  5. die cut the sentiment, you need to run it through the die cut twice to make it smaller
  6. adhere the woodgrain layer to the base card using liquid glue, then the blue rectangle the same way
  7. attach the bird layer using dimensional pads
  8. adhere the blue band using liquid glue
  9. attach the sentiment using dimensional pads
  10. add the gems

Seasonal Branches meets Nested Essentials

Intermediate level - colouring, die cutting, dry embossing, layering, punching, stamping, dying twine

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, fresh freesia, pecan pie
Designer Series Paper: 21/2 in color
Bundles: seasonal branches
Dies: nested essentials (2)
Embossing Folders: timber 3D
Ink: fresh freesia
Punches: banner pick a punch
Stampin' Blends: bubble bath, fresh freesia, lemon lolly, *seaside spray
Accessories: bakers twine essentials, tinsel gems 3 pack
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, matt 14 x 10, strip (for the sentiment) 6.5 x 1.25
  2. emboss the matt using the folder
  3. stamp the images and sentiment
  4. flag the sentiment using the punch
  5. die cut the nested diamond, the bird, the flowers (both the wreath and individuals), the branch
  6. wrap the white twine round the matt 3 times leaving enough to tie a bow and cut
  7. dye the bakers twine using the fresh freesia blend and leave to dry for a few minuets
  8. colour the bird using the fresh freesia stampin' blend
  9. wrap the  twine around the matt and tie a bow to the right hand side
  10. adhere the diamond to the matt using liquid glue
  11. adhere the branch using liquid glue
  12. attach the bird and flower wreath using dimensional pads
  13. attach the 3 individual flowers using glue dots
  14. add the gems 
  15. attach the sentiment using dimensional pads
