Birthday Celebrations meets Lovely Arrangements

Happy 80th Sylvia

Intermediate level - die cutting, layering, fussy cutting, splatting, stamping

Materials required for this card are:
 
Bundles: *birthday celebrations, lovely arrangements
Card Stock: basic black & white, crisp cantaloupe, peaceful pine
Designer Series Paper: *beautifully penned, *irresistibly yours, 
Ink: crisp cantaloupe
Stamps: fabulous sayings
Accessories: drusy embellishments, adhesive sheets
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, black layer 10 x 14, dotted dsp layer 9.5 x 13.5, white dsp layer 9.5 x 7, leaves 5 x 8, flowers 13 x 5, sentiment 10.5 x 3.5, white numbers & banner 4 x 7, crisp cantaloupe numbers 4 x 5
  1. die cut the circles from lovely arrangements dies, in the centre of the black layer 
  2. adhere the dotted layer to the black layer using liquid glue
  3. adhere one row of the circles plus one extra circle to the bottom of white layer creating a scalloped edge using liquid glue (trim off the excess)
  4. adhere this to the top of the dsp layer using liquid glue
  5. stamp the happy birthday and fussy cut it, separating the two words
  6. stamp the flowers
  7. stamp the TH, then cut off from the rest of the piece of card
  8. add adhesive sheeting to the back of the white and crisp cantaloupe pieces
  9. die cut all the pieces
  10. attach the happy and th banner using dimensional pads
  11. remove the backing from the numbers and adhere them together slightly shadowed, then adhere to the card
  12. adhere the first flower to the card using liquid glue
  13. attach the other flowers using dimensional pad
  14. adhere the leaves using liquid glue
  15. attach the birthday with dimensional pads
  16. tap your wink of stella brush against its lid over the card for a little shimmer
  17. add the embelishments

Petal Park meets Everyday Greetings

Intermediate level - die cutting dry embossing, layering, punching out, stamping

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic white, balmy blue, petal pink
Designer Series Paper: *regency park
Dies: *basic borders
Embossing Folders: beautiful pattern 3D
Ink: balmy blue, petal pink
Punches: modern oval, *petal park
Stampin' Markers: *balmy blue
Stamps: *everyday greetings, *petal park
Accessories: drusy embellishments 
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 10.5 x 29 scored at 14.5, white 14 x 10, 6.5 x 5 oval, blue 5 x 2 (2 leaves), petal pink 15 x 1.5 border,  6.5 x 8 petals, dsp 8.5 x 10
  1. dry emboss the white layer using the 3D folder
  2. die cut the border
  3. mark the bottom edge of the dsp at 5.5, then cut down from the top right corner to the mark
  4. align the border to the dsp and adhere using liquid glue, then cut off the excess pieces 
  5. adhere the dsp to the embossed layer using liquid glue
  6. adhere this layer to the base card using liquid glue 
  7. stamp the label, petals and leaves, then punch them out
  8. add a border round  the label using the marker
  9. attach the label using dimensional pads
  10. attach the petals and leaves using glue dots
  11. add the gems to the petals
