Intermediate level - fussy cutting, heat embossing,  layering, 

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: blackberry bliss

Designer Series Paper: *dainty flowers

Ink: versaMark

Stamps: magnolia mood

Accessories: bakers twine essentials pack, embossing powder (white),  iridescent discs

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, layer one 10.2 x 14.2, dsp layer 10 x 14, sentiment 7 x 3

1. stamp and heat emboss the sentiment, then fussy cut round it
2. adhere the dsp to the first layer using liquid glue
3. adhere these to the base card using liquid glue
4. make a double bow and attach to the base card using a glue dot
5. attach the sentiment using dimensional pads
6. add the discs

Dainty Flowers meets Day To Celebrate

Thanks to Rose Applegate a quick and easy make today - die cutting, heat embossing, layering. I slipped when die cutting the sentiment so trimmed round it and added a plain background 

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, blackberry bliss

Designer Series Paper: *dainty flowers

Dies: something fancy

Embossing Powder: clear

Ink: blackberry bliss, versaMark 

Stamps: *day to celebrate

Accessories: *glittered bakers twine, *woven threads sequins

 

* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, layer one 10.2 x 14.2, dsp layer 10 x 14, scrap pieces of blackberry bliss & basic white
2. adhere the dsp to layer one using liquid glue then attach to the base card using dimensional pads
3. ink up the sentiment with versaMark and then blackberry blisss before stamping, add the embossing powder and heat set
4. die cutting the label
5. trim round the sentiment and adhere to the label using liquid glue
6. wind the bakers twine and attach to the back of the label using sticky tape (seal +)
7. attach to the base card using dimensional pads
8. add the sequins using mini glue dots

Seem to have lost my mojo at the moment and need to get a few cards done quickly so casing at the moment.

This was the first time of using this bundle and I was pleasantly surprised how nice it all comes together. The ribbon is a real blast from the past though.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, rich razzleberry

Designer Series Paper: dainty flowers (sab)

Dies: meadow, two-tone flora

Ink: blushing bride, old olive, rich razzleberry

Stampin' Up Blends: old olive

Stamp Sets: go to greetings, two-tone flora

Accessories: *grosgrain stitched ribbon

1. base card 21 x 14.5 scored at 10.5
2. stamp the flowers, leaves and sentiment
3. die cut the background, flowers, leaves and sentiment
4. trim down the background to just a narrow edge (roughly 10 x 14)
5. cut a piece of the dsp to fit behind the background and adhere using wet glue
6. Adhere the background to the base card using wet glue
7. adhere the leaves, flowers and sentiment using wet glue
8. make a bow and attach using glue dots

My cousin has just had a hip replacement operation so I'm sending her a card to cheer her up.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white

Designer Series Paper: dainty flowers (sab)

Dies: deckled rectangles (6,7)

Embossing Folders: timeworn type 3D

Ink: memento tuxedo black

Stampin' Up Blends: petal pink, pumpkin pie, tahitian tide

Stamp Sets: adorable owls (sab)

Accessories: *adhesive backed snowflakes, *glittered organdy ribbon

1. base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, layer 1 14.5 x 10.5
2. die cut the rectangles
3. emboss layer 1
4. adhere all 3 layers using wet glue to the base card
5. stamp the owl and colour using the blends
6. fussy cut the owl (as close the black line as possible)
7. adhere the pieces of ribbon using tear & tape
8. attach the owl using Dimensionals
9. add a sentiment (mine was computer generated) 
10. add the snowflakes
