Easy level - layering, fussy cutting, stamping

Materials required for this card are:


Card Stock: basic white
Designer Series Paper: *in good taste, beautiful gallery
Ink: secret sea
Stamps: arched wishes, textured notes
 * = no longer available 

Start with a base card 29.7 x 10.5 scored at 14.85, background dsp 14.35 x 10.1, foreground dsp 12.9 x 9.6, white off cuts stamping
  1. cut the foreground dsp into 3 equal pieces of 4.3
  2. adhere the background layer to the base card using liquid glue
  3. position the 3 top pieces and adhere them with liquid glue
  4. stamp the two sentiments and fussy cut round them 
  5. attach the sentiments using dimensional pads

Textured Notes Bundle and more

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping
Still no Mojo so cased from Amy Koenders

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: textured notes (1,2,6)
Card Stock: basic beige, pecan pie
Designer Series Paper: *in good taste
Embossing Folders: mini corrugated 3D
Ink: old olive, pecan pie, pretty peacock
Stamps: sentimental park
Accessories: brushed brass butterflies, *glittered organdy ribbon
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp 9.7 x14, 8.5 x 12.5, pecan pie 7.5 x 3.5, basic beige 6 x 2.5
  1. dry emboss the larger piece of dsp, then adhere it to the base card using liquid glue
  2. die cut the 3 rectangles and stamp the images and sentiment
  3. adhere the second piece of dsp using liquid glue
  4. adhere the 2 smaller rectangle's together using liquid glue and attach the ribbon on  the back using sticky tape
  5. attach this to the base card using dimensional pads
  6. add the butterflies

Biggest Wish meets Forever Plaid 3D

Intermediate - die cutting, dry embossing, embellishing, layering, stamping
This card is my interpretation of a card designed by Peggy Noe of 'prettypapercards'

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: crumb cake, scrap of basic white 
Designer Series Paper: *in good taste 
Dies: deckled rectangles (4,8), *taylor made (3)
Embossing Folders: forever plaid 3D
Ink: crumb cake, misty moonlight
Stamps: biggest wish
Accessories: heart & home memories & more cards & envelopes, linen thread
 
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card from the heart & home pack cut down to 14.2 x 10.8 folded, crumb cake layers 13.5 x 10, 9 x 4, dsp 9.5 x 6
  2. stamp the sentiments, happy in crumb cake and birthday in misty moonlight
  3. die cut all the pieces, 4 in all
  4. dry emboss the crumb cake layer
  5. adhere the first two layers to the base card using liquid glue
  6. adhere the tag ring to the tag using liquid glue
  7. attach the tag using dimensional tabs (make sure there is a dimensional behind the tag hole
  8. make a bow using the linen thread and place it into the tag hole

Aspen Trees meets Perched On A Tree (with a twist)

CASeD from Narelle Farrugia - alcohol blending, die cutting, dry embossing (with a twist), layering, stamping, tearing paper

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, early espresso
Designer Series Paper: *galvanised metallic, *in good taste
Dies: aspen trees
Ink: early espresso, pretty peacock
Punches: banner pick a
Stamps: artistically inked
Stampin' Blends: crumb cake, ivory, 700 medium light 1, 800 medium light 2
 * = no longer available
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, basic white layer 9.5 x 13.5, galvanised metallic 10 x 14, dsp 2 x 10.5, early espresso 10.5 torn across at about 3cm, basic white for stamping
  2. die cut the leaves from the middle of the galvanised metallic layer, then adhere the galvanised layer only to the base card using liquid glue
  3. using the splatter stamps on the white layer, stamp the full stamp a few times using the stamping off method, then the dotted stamp full strength on top
  4. Now for the 'twist' - layer your aspen window die as if to die cut, but place your silicone matt underneath the paper first when layering your sandwich (this embosses the image instead of cutting it) adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  5. stamp the trees and bird, colour the bird using the blends (crumb cake for the wing, 700 & 800 for the head, ivory for the body)
  6. stamp the sentiment using a strip of basic white then flag the one end
  7. adhere the dsp and paper strip together using liquid glue, then adhere to the base card, using liquid glue
  8. adhere the leaves using liquid glue
  9. attach the bird, trees and sentiment using dimensional pads

Biggest Wish meets Alphabet A La Mode

Embossing, die cutting, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: blueberry bushel, crumb cake
Designer Series Paper: *in good taste
Dies: alphabet al a mode, nested essentials (2)
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D
Ink: memento black, pecan pie
Stamp Sets: biggest wish
Accessories: *holiday rhinestones
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 10.5 x 29.7 scored at 14.85, first layer 14.4 x 10.1
  2. emboss the first layer
  3. cut a stripe of dsp 14.4 x 2.7 and adhere to the first layer 1cm from top
  4. adhere this layer to the base card using liquid glue
  5. stamp the happy and birthday one on top of the other
  6. add adhesive sheet to the back of the dsp for the letters 
  7. die cut the letters and sentiment
  8. attach the sentiment to card using dimensional pads
  9. remove the adhesive backing from the letters, place them on the card and press down to adhere them.
  10. add a linen bow and rhinestones

In The Country meets Artistically Inked

Sale-a-bration plus more, a mixture of old and new to make a classic kind of card.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: early espresso, very vanilla
Designer Series Paper: *in good taste
Dies: deckled rectangles (5,6)
Ink: early espresso
Punches: happy labels
Stamp Sets: artistically inked, in the country
Accessories: *rustic metallic dots
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1)
  1. Start with a base card of 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5
  2. Cut dsp to 14.1 x 10.1, add a thin strip of the base colour across the bottom and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  3. stamp and die cut the image
  4. die cut the next size up die in the base colour and adhere behind the image using liquid glue
  5. using a 1.25 strip of very vanilla, stamp the sentiment and clip the ends using the punch.
  6. attach the sentiment and image to the base card using dimensionals
  7. add the metallic dots either side of the sentiment

Found this card on Pinterest but added the 'Son' at bottom of it. The original was made by Tina Rappe, so thank you for your inspiration.

This was a quick and easy card to make except for the fussy cutting (hate doing that). There's also dry embossing, die cutting, heat embossing and colouring with blends.

I wasn't sure about getting the "stitched greenery" die but I'm so glad I did, it adds just a little something different to a card. The layout for this card came from a wedding card I'd seen on Pinterest some time ago.

Went for a more earthy type card, would give it a bit more dimension next time by embossing the images with the subtle 3D embossing folder. Found it looked a little plain.

It started off as a CASe card and quickly turned into my own creation!!

There was quite a bit of fussy cutting on this card (which I hate doing) so hope she likes it.
