Hand Penned meets Happiness Abounds

  Welcome to my blog

and  thank you for joining me today!

A big Thank You

In February this year we decided to have our bathroom refitted so went along to a fairly local company, decided what we wanted and were told it wouldn't get done until March next year. We felt it was worth waiting for, and I was right. We got a phone call from the lovely Emma about 6 weeks ago and now we have a lovely new bathroom and I'm sooooo pleased with it. So thanks to all the gang who made it possible.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic  white
Designer Series Paper: 21/23 in color, mercury glass acetate
Dies: penned flowers, scalloped contours (3)
Embossing Folders: subtle 3D
Ink: fresh freesia, memento tuxedo black
Stampin' Up Blends:  fresh freesia, soft succulent
Stamp Sets: hand penned, happiness abounds
Accessories: open weave ribbon

When using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. stamp the image and sentiment
  2. colour the image using the blends
  3. die cut the image and rectangle
  4. fussy cut the sentiment
  5. cut off 2cm from the front of the card
  6. cut a piece of the dsp 10 x 14.5, now cut 2cm from the right hand side and adhere to the inside back on the right.
  7. Adhere the rest of the dsp to the left front side.
  8. cut a strip of the mercury glass 14.5 x .5 and adhere down the righthand side of the card front.
  9. adhere the rectangle
  10. attach the flowers and sentiment using Dimensionals
  11. make a bow and attach using a glue dot.
