Simply Said meets Heartfelt Hexagonal punch

Easy level - dry embossing, heat embossing, layering, stamping 

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white. smoky slate
Designer Series Paper: take to the sky
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D
Embossing Powder: black
Ink: versaMark
Punches: heartfelt hexagon
Stamps: simply said
Accessories: neutrals sequins, *stithced satin ribbon
 * = no longer available

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5
  • basic white 14.5 x 5, 8 x 8
  • basic black 7.5 x 7.5
  • dsp 14.5 x 5, 7 x 7
  • smoky slate 14.5 x 10.5
  1. dry emboss the smoky slate and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  2. punch out a hexagon from the centre of the black square
  3. In the middle of the white square stamp the sentiment in versaMark, cover with black embossing powder and heat set
  4. punch out using the hexagon
  5. layer the 2 rectangle strips using liquid glue
  6. dry emboss the 8 x 8 white square
  7. layer the 3 squares using liquid glue
  8. adhere these 2 pieces to the base card using liquid glue
  9. cut the black hexagon in half and adhere to the white one top and bottom using liquid glue
  10. using sticky tape adhere the ribbon behind the sentiment and attach the card using dimensional pads
  11. add the sequins

Happiest Day meets Deckled Rectangles

Easy level - 2 step stamping, die cutting, dying bakers twine, layering

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: smoky slate, very vanilla
Designer Series Paper: 24/6 in colours 
Dies: deckled rectangles (5,8)
Ink: memento black, peach pie, smoky slate
Stampin' Blends: smoky slate
Stamps: happiest day
Accessories: essentials bakers twine, neutrals sequins
when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 14 x 21 score at 10.5, dsp 13.5 x 10, small rectangles 10.5 x 7, very vanilla 6 x 5 (dragonfly's)
  2. stamp the dragonfly's, colour the wings, fussy cut 
  3. colour the bakers twine using the stampin' blends
  4. on small rectangle stamp the sentiment 
  5. die cut all the rectangles 
  6. adhere the dsp rectangle to the base card using liquid glue
  7. adhere the 2 smaller rectangle's together at an angle
  8. wrap the bakers twine around the rectangles and tie with bow
  9. then again using liquid glue adhere these to the base card
  10. attach the dragonfly's using dimensional pads
  11. add the sequins

Adventurous Sky and more

Used a card template for this one - die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: adventurous sky
Card Stock: basic white thick, night of navy, smoky slate
Designer Series Paper: take to the sky
Dies: deckled rectangles (3,4), mini alphabet
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D, painted texture 3D
Ink: night of navy, smoky slate (stamped off)
Accessories: neutral sequins
 
when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, first layer 14.1 x 10.1, dsp layer 13.7 x 9.7, card strips 2.5 x 13, dsp strips 2.1 x 12.6, night of navy off cut & basic white off cut for rectangles, letters, sentiment & plane
  2. dry emboss the dsp layer and adhere to the 1st layer
  3. adhere the first layer to the base card using liquid glue
  4. adhere the dsp strips to the card strips and then adhere these to the base card using liquid glue
  5. stamp some clouds on white card using the stamping off method
  6. stamp the sentiment and plane 
  7. add some adhesive sheet to the back of a piece of white card for the letters
  8. die cut all the elements
  9. dry emboss the white rectangle
  10. place the letters
  11. adhere the two rectangles together, then adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  12. attach the plane and sentiment using dimensional pads
  13. add the sequin

Intermediate Level: colour with alcohol ink, die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping 

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: adventurous sky
Card Stock: basic white, night of navy
Designer Series Paper: take to the sky
Dies: deckled rectangles (8), everyday details circle (3), rectangle (1)
Embossing Folders: so swirly
Ink: memento tuxedo black, night of navy
Stampin' Blends: color lifter, copper clay, smoky slate
Accessories: neutrals sequins
 
When using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp 10.5 x 14, 2.5 x 9, basic white 5 x 8 sentiments, 3 x 5 plane, 7 x 7 circle
  2. die cut the large rectangle and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  3. stamp the plane in memento black and both sentiments in night of navy
  4. die cut these along with the circle 
  5. dry emboss the circle
  6. colour the plane using the stampin' blends, then use the color lifter to remove some of the colour within the propeller area 
  7. adhere the small strip of dsp towards  the bottom of the base using liquid glue
  8. attach the HB sentiment to the top of the card using dimensional pads
  9. adhere the circle using liquid glue
  10. attach the plane and bottom sentiment using dimensional pads
  11. add the sequin
