Pansy Patch meets Texture Chic

Blast from the past. Not as hard as it might look
die cutting, dry & heat embossing, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic beige & white
Designer Series Paper: *textlure chic
Dies: *christmas classic 
Embossing Folders: forever plaid 3D
Embossing Powder: gold
Ink: versaMark
Stamps: *pansy patch
Accessories: *basic sequins, *square vellum doilies

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, beige layer 10 x 14, dsp 7 x 7
  1. dry emboss the beige layer 
  2. diagonally cut the dsp to make two triangle's and adhere them to the beige layer using liquid glue
  3. adhere the doily using liquid glue (only in the area where the sentiment will be)
  4. stamp the sentiment using versaMark ink, cover with embossing powder and heat emboss.
  5. die cut the sentiment running it through the cutter twice to make the rectangle smaller
  6. adhere to the card using liquid glue
  7. add the sequins

Alphabet A La Mode masculine birthday

Easy Intermediate - die cutting, fussy cutting, heat embossing, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: *evening evergreen, *soft succulent
Designer Series Paper: *texture chic
Dies: alphabet a la mode
Embossing Powder: white
Ink: versamark 
Stamps: *biggest wish
Accessories: linen thread, *slimline envelopes

  1. Start with a base card 22 x 19 scored at 9.5, first layer 21 x 8.5, dsp layer 20.5 x 8, letters 5 x 14, off cut for sentiment
  2. adhere the dsp to the first layer using liquid glue
  3. wrap some linen thread around and tie with a bow towards the bottom 
  4. adhere some adhesive sheeting to the back of the letters layer arrange the letters and then die cut
  5. stamp the sentiment, heat emboss in white then fussy cut round it
  6. place the letters where you want them and adhere down
  7. attach this layer to the base card using dimensional pads
  8. attach the sentiment using dimensional pads

Season of Chic meets Sunkissed

60th birthday for a friend


It took a while for the mojo to get going for this one, and there's lots going on.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, petal pink
Designer Series Paper: texture chic
Dies: alphabet a la mode, chic, deckled rectangles (5), split card textures
Embossing Folders: timeless type
Ink: petal pink, soft succulent, versamark
Stamp Sets: season of chic, sunkissed
Accessories: gold embossing powder, polished dots, soft polyester ribbon, heat tool

dsp = designer series paper 
  1. base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5  
  2. dsp cut at 8 x 14.2
  3. die cut the split card texture, then trim it down to 10 x 14.2 and adhere the dsp to the back of it.
  4. emboss this layer and adhere to the base card
  5. add the ribbon as a background for the flowers
  6. stamp the flowers (emboss just the one flower) and leaves then die cut them 
  7. stamp the sentiments (these need to be stamped separately and cut down to size) 
  8. attach the flowers and sentiments with dimensionals and the leaves and numbers with wet glue
  9. add a polished dot to the un embossed flower

Season of Chic meets Go To Greetings

This is my first go at using the season of chic suite, so to make it easier for myself I copied a card I liked from pinterest, which was originally created by 'stampingwithmelodie', I also changed the size to metric, like melodie I did both a green and a gray card. 

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: evening evergreen, gray granite, petal pink, soft succulent, whisper white
Designer Series Paper: distressed gold paper, texture chic
Dies: chic
Ink: evening evergreen, petal pink, soft succulent, 
Stamp Sets: go to greetings, season of chic
Accessories: *genial gems, stamparatus

  1. Base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp 8.5 x10.5, sentiment 2.5 x 10.5
  2. stamp the  front of the base card using the splodge stamp
  3. using the stamparatus stamp the flowers and leaves (2 step stamping)
  4. stamp the sentiment
  5. die cut all flowers, leaves and gold background
  6. adhere the dsp and background to the base card using liquid glue
  7. adhere the flowers and leave's under the sentiment using liquid glue
  8. Attach the sentiment & top flowers using dimensionals
  9. adhere gems to flowers.
