Petal Park meets Everyday Greetings

Intermediate level - die cutting dry embossing, layering, punching out, stamping

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic white, balmy blue, petal pink
Designer Series Paper: *regency park
Dies: *basic borders
Embossing Folders: beautiful pattern 3D
Ink: balmy blue, petal pink
Punches: modern oval, *petal park
Stampin' Markers: *balmy blue
Stamps: *everyday greetings, *petal park
Accessories: drusy embellishments 
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 10.5 x 29 scored at 14.5, white 14 x 10, 6.5 x 5 oval, blue 5 x 2 (2 leaves), petal pink 15 x 1.5 border,  6.5 x 8 petals, dsp 8.5 x 10
  1. dry emboss the white layer using the 3D folder
  2. die cut the border
  3. mark the bottom edge of the dsp at 5.5, then cut down from the top right corner to the mark
  4. align the border to the dsp and adhere using liquid glue, then cut off the excess pieces 
  5. adhere the dsp to the embossed layer using liquid glue
  6. adhere this layer to the base card using liquid glue 
  7. stamp the label, petals and leaves, then punch them out
  8. add a border round  the label using the marker
  9. attach the label using dimensional pads
  10. attach the petals and leaves using glue dots
  11. add the gems to the petals

Everyday Greetings meets Magnolia Mood

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry & heat embossing, layering, stamping
Cased from Sarah's stampin' retreat.

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: *evening evergreen, *gold foil
Designer Series Paper: *expressions in ink
Dies: *magnolia mood
Embossing Folders: cane weave 3D
Embossing Powder: gold
Ink: versaMark
Punches: heartfelt hexagon
Stamps: *everyday greetings
Accessories: *gold thread
 * = no longer available

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, gold foil 10.1 x 14.1, dsp 9.7 x 13.7, green 6 x 7, 1.5 x 14.5
  1. punch the hexagon from the middle of the gold foil panel
  2. die cut the leaves from the gold panel
  3. adhere the dsp to the gold panel using liquid glue
  4. now adhere gold panel to base card using liquid glue
  5. dry emboss the the green strip, then adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  6. stamp the greeting on the green 6 x 7 using versaMark, add the embossing powder, then heat
  7. wind some gold thread and attach to the back of the gold hexagon using tear & tape
  8. adhere the open leaf behind the gold hexagon then adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  9. attach the green hexagon stepping it up slightly using dimensional pads
  10. adhere the closed leaf behind the green hexagon using liquid glue

Sympathy Card - Branching Out meets Nature's Symphony

and  thank you for joining me today!

Sympathy card for my Aunt who lost her elder sister last week


Intermediate level - bow making, die cutting, dry embossing, layering, masking, stamping

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic white, lost lagoon
Designer Series Paper: nature walk
Dies: branching out (3), nature's symphony
Embossing Folders: subtle 3D
Ink: secret sea, lost lagoon
Stamps: *everyday greetings
Accessories: blending brush, bordered open weave ribbon
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp layer 10 x 14, lost lagoon 11 x 10, white 9.5 x 13.5, 
  1. adhere the dsp to the base card using liquid glue
  2. die cut the leaves
  3. create a mask using the branching out die and some scrap card stock
  4. use the mask and blending brush to create the shading on the white layer
  5. stamp the sentiment
  6. emboss this layer and attach to the base card using dimensional pads
  7. adhere the leaves using liquid glue
  8. make a bow and attach using a glue dot
