Snowman Season meets Itty Bitty Christmas

Hello and welcome to my haven in a hectic world!

This is the Fourth of my Christmas cards for 2020.  As stated before they are all creations taken from Pinterest last year. So for all of you who first made them a big thank you.

All measurements are in centimetres.
(cs) = card stock, (ef) = embossing folder, (r) = retired, (ss) = stamp set

Card Stock: 4 pieces whisper white 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5 (card base), 13.5 x 9.5 (embossed layer), 7 x 7 (stamped layer) 1.5 x 6 (sentiment)
2 pieces purple posy/soft seaside spray 14 x 10 (1st layer), 10.5 x 13 (leaves frame)
  • Emboss the larger whisper white (cs) using the subtle (ef).
  • Stamp the snowman from the snowman seasons (ss) using memento ink and then colour it using the light stampin' blends for the scarf and nose, pumpkin pie, purple posy/seaside spray.
  • Die cut the 2 frames (this can be done at the same time) using the frosted frames dies.
  • Staple the seaside spray metallic / organdy combo ribbon at top of the image frame, making a banner.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the itty bitty Christmas (ss) and punch out using the classic label punch.
  • To put together, adhere the embossed (cs) to the purple posy (1st layer) using liquid glue and attach to the card base using dimensional pads. Then attach the other two layers on top again using dimensional pads, finishing with the sentiment.
  • Add a rhinestone to the sentiment.
Thanks for dropping by and hopefully see you again soon

Frosted Foliage Suite

Hello and welcome, glad you dropped by today!

I really enjoyed making this card, and it wasn't that hard either.

All measurements are in centimetres.
(cs) = Card Stock, (dsp) = Designer Series Paper

Card Stock: Seaside Spray 10.5 x 12.5 ( foliage mat), Whisper White 2 pieces 25 x 12.5 scored at 12.5 (square card), 7.5 x  6.5 (sentiment)
DSP: Feels Like Frost 12 x 12 (first mat)
Dies: Frosted Frames
Punches: Detailed Trio
Stamp Sets: Frosted Foliage
Accessories: Basic Rhinestones, Metallic Ribbon 2 pieces 15cm for the strip and 20cm for the bow)

Start with the piece of (dsp) and use the detailed trio punch to round off the corners.
Attach the smaller stripe of ribbon across the top of (dsp) about 8mm from the top, then tie a bow with the second stripe and attach this to the stripe of ribbon on the left hand side using a glue dot.
Attach this mat to the card base using dimensional pads.
Using the small piece of whisper white (cs) stamp the snowflake in seaside spray 2nd generation (stamped off once before using), now stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy on top of the snowflakes.
Die cut the piece of seaside spray (cs) using the foliage die and the sentiment using the label die (these can be done at the same time).
Attach  the sentiment to the foliage using dimensional pads and then attach the foliage mat to the card base.
Add rhinestones in each of the 4 corners of the sentiment.

Will be back again soon with more cards!

Frosted Foliage

Hello and welcome to my haven in a hectic world!

This is a card required quickly as when we received Edward and Janine's card this year there was a new address included and I'd sent a card to their old address.
Measurement are in centimetres, (cs = card stock, (dsp) = designer series paper, (ef) = embossing folder, (ss) = stamp set

Colours are: Seaside Spray, Silver Foil, Whisper White.

Card base is whisper white 21 x 14.85 scored at 10.5, Feels Like Frost (dsp) 2.5 x 14.85, silver foil 11 x 13 (foliage frame), 2 pieces of seaside spray  8.5 x 8 (foliage frame minus the leaves), 6.5 x 7 (extra leaves), whisper white 8 x 7 (sentiment frame).
  • Stamp the sentiment from the frosted foliage (ss) using versamark ink onto the small piece of  whisper white (cs) and emboss using silver embossing powder.
  • Now die cut the sentiment using the smaller frame from the frosted frames dies.
  • Using the silver foil piece die cut the foliage frame from the frosted frames dies.
  • Now with the seaside spray (cs) die cut another foliage frame but omitting the leaves.
  • You will need to tidy up the edges around this frame.
  • Adhere the sentiment using liquid glue and with the ½  circle punch mimic the curve on each of the corners.
  • Attach this to the silver foil foliage frame using glue dots (these will better stick to the foil).
  • Die cut the extra leaves from the frosted frames dies in seaside spray.
  • Emboss the card base using the subtle folder.
  • Adhere the feels like frost (dsp) across the middle of the card base using liquid glue.
  • Add a strip of seaside spray metallic ribbon along each side of the (dsp) using double sided sided tape.
  • Arrange the extra foliage around the sentiment using liquid glue.
  • Colour 4 basic rhinestones using the seaside spray stampin' blends.
  • Attach the rhinestones in the 4 corners of the sentiment.
Thanks for popping by.

Will be back again soon with more cards.
