Season of Chic meets Go To Greetings

  Welcome to my blog

and  thank you for joining me today!

Happy Birthday to Sima & Lindsey

This is my first go at using the season of chic suite, so to make it easier for myself I copied a card I liked from pinterest, which was originally created by 'stampingwithmelodie', I also changed the size to metric, like melodie I did both a green and a gray card.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: evening evergreen, gray granite, petal pink, soft succulent, whisper white
Designer Series Paper: distressed gold paper, texture chic
Dies: chic
Ink: evening evergreen, petal pink, soft succulent,
Stamp Sets: go to greetings, season of chic
Accessories: *genial gems, stamparatus

* = no longer available
  1. Base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp 8.5 x10.5, sentiment 2.5 x 10.5
  2. stamp the  front of the base card using the splodge stamp
  3. using the stamparatus stamp the flowers and leaves (2 step stamping)
  4. stamp the sentiment
  5. die cut all flowers, leaves and gold background
  6. adhere the dsp and background to the base card using liquid glue
  7. adhere the flowers and leave's under the sentiment using liquid glue
  8. Attach the sentiment & top flowers using dimensionals
  9. adhere gems to flowers.

Hope you liked today's card. If you would like more information on how to make it, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to hear from you.

If you wish to buy any of the items used, go to contacting me at the top of the page for details on how to order.

Will be back again soon with more cards, in the meantime take care and have a great day.

Decorative Masks Embossed and Blended

 Thank you for joining me today!

it's week 5 for Paul!

I must say it's harder making weekly cards for Paul than it was for Sue, there's not such scope for men is there.

This card was inspired by a technique video I watched by Martin Stone from Martin's Mayhem! It's using decorative mask stencils that have been embossed and blending brushes, to get the blotches I just splashed on some water and blotted it off. I think it came out not too bad and it's so easy to do.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: just jade, pale papaya, very vanilla
Dies: floral gallery
Ink: cinnamon cider, just jade, pale papaya, pool party
Ribbon: *forever greenery gold trim
Stamp Sets: forever fern
Accessories: blending brushes, genial gems, plenty of patterns decorative masks
* = no longer available

Hope you liked today's card. If you would like more information on how to make it, please don't hesitate to contact me, I'd love to hear from you.

If you wish to buy any of the items used, go to contacting me at the top of the page for details on how to order.
