Art Gallery meets All Together and more

This is a CASeD card created by Carolyn King, I've used most of the same products (all unavailable now, sorry). All measurements for this card are in Centimetres.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic black, *galvanised metallic
Designer Series Paper: *all together
Dies: *floral gallery, *stitched stars (1,2,3)
Ink: versaMark
Punches: *tailored tag
Stamp Sets: *art gallery
Accessories: White embossing powder, *silver thread
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, 2 galvanised metallic rectangles 8.5 x 5.5, 2 designer series paper rectangles 8 x 5, plus another dsp rectangle 3.8 x 7.5 in a different pattern
  2. adhere the metallic rectangles to the 2 dsp rectangles using liquid glue
  3. adhere these two rectangles to the base card about 1.5 in from the side using liquid glue
  4. create a label shape with the last piece of dsp using the punch
  5. adhere the label between the 2 rectangles using liquid glue
  6. stamp the sentiment in versamark and cover with white embossing powder then heat emboss
  7. die cut the sentiment and stars.
  8. using some seal on the back of the largest star adhere the silver thread
  9. use dimensional pads to attach the stars and sentiment

Art Gallery meets In The Country

This is the second card today as there are 2 birthdays 


Combination of blending with stampin' blends and brushes together, the darker parts are the blends and the lighter parts are the brushes

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, crumb cake, soft suede
Dies: layering diorama (3,4)
Embossing Folders: timber 3D
Ink: balmy blue, crumb cake, granny apple green, memento tuxedo black, soft suede
Punches: happy labels
Stampin' Up Blends: bronze, evening evergreen, granny apple green, old olive, soft succulent
Stamp Sets: art gallery, in the country
Accessories: blending brushes, *designer elements
 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
  1. Start with a base card 10.5 x29  scored at 14.5
  2. layer 1 = 14.1 x 10.1, emboss this layer
  3. die cut layer 1 using the larger die towards the left side
  4. line up die 3 and 4 and die cut the frame in soft suede
  5. adhere the frame to layer 1 using wet glue
  6. stamp the image onto basic white using memento black
  7. colour the image using a combination of stampin' blends and blending brushes 
  8. adhere the finished picture behind the aperture and adhere using wet glue
  9. attach layer 1 to the base card using dimensional's
  10. stamp the sentiment and trim the sides using the happy labels punch
  11. attach the sentiment using dimensional's
  12. add the designer elements

Art Gallery meets Alphabet A La Mode

Happy Birthday Gemma


A mixture of stamping, die cutting and the baby wipe technique, this card is so simple to do.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white
Designer Series Paper: *sunshine rainbows
Dies: alphabet a la mode, basic borders, floral gallery
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D
Ink: fresh freesia
Ink refills: fresh freesia, pale papaya, pool party
Stamp Sets: art gallery
Accessories: adhesive-backed snowflakes, baby wipe, open weave ribbon
 
* = no longer available
  1. base card 29.7 x 10.5 scored at 14.85, dsp 14.85 x 5, layer one 14.85 x 9, letters basic white 9 x 5
  2. load a baby wipe with 3 colours using re-inkers (only a couple of spots of each colour needed)
  3. swipe the baby wipe across the card stock for the letters.
  4. stamp the sentiment
  5. Adhere the dsp to the top of the card using wet ink.
  6. Die cut the clouds, letters and sentiment pieces.
  7. Emboss the clouds using the subtle 3D folder (or similar)
  8. Adhere the letters across the clouds 
  9. Add ribbon to clouds and adhere to the base card
  10. Add the snowflakes, then the sentiment using dimensional's

I just love this set for masculine cards. 3 layers with the top one embossed after the stamping and blending was done, with a couple of the larger trees in the foreground.

Card Stock: basic white, mossy meadow, smoky slate
Dies: floral gallery, majestic mountain 
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D (can't stop using this one)
Ink: balmy blue, gray granite, *just jade, sahara sand, smoky slate

Color & Contours meets Art Gallery

A clean and simple look today, with 2 step stamping and little die cutting.
The one thing I did do was to cut down the base card to 13.8 (5 7/16) in height to create an even border all round.

Materials required for this card are:

Ink: evening evergreen, fresh freesia
Punches: lovely labels

World Maps meets Art Gallery and more.

I watched Gez & Jill's monthly facebook live back in April and just couldn't wait to try out Gezs' contribution, so made this card the next day and put it away for Mike's birthday. Hence a lot of the products are now retired.


Just love this card, I struggle with masculine cards on the whole, but this one just came together quite quickly so thank you Gez for your inspiration!

Garden Wishes meets Art Gallery

I forgot I had the Dandy Laser-cut paper so decided I needed to use it up quickly. Don't know if that will happen, but here's the first card using it!


It's an easy to make card, using the heat embossing technique for the flower & sentiment.

Tried this layout the other day and it took me ages to convert it to centimetres, but I persevered and got there in the end. Just hope Sue likes.

Tried some gold leafing for today's card, and will need to practice more to perfect using the heat & stick but hey ho, it turned out not to bad!
The larger flower, sentiments and card base border are all gold leafed.

Dies: floral gallery, curvy
Embossing Folders: tasteful texture 3D
Embossing Powder: heat & stick
Ink: bumble bee, shaded spruce, so saffron, versamark
