Intermediate level - die cutting, dry & heat embossing, insetting, layering, stamping
Materials required for this card are:
Card Stock: basic white, vellum
Designer Series Paper: so very vellum
Dies: *countryside corners (2,5), *thoughtful wishes
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D
Embossing Powder: clear
Ink: fresh freesia, versaMark
Stampin' Blends: fresh freesia
Stamps: charming day
Accessories: *basic ab seqluins, blending brush, linen thread
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, plain vellum 10.1 x 14.1, so very vellum 6.5 x 10.5, plain vellum 7 x 3, basic white 7 x 3 (sentiment), 9.5 x 10 (flowers & leaves), soft sea foam 5 x 10 (leaves)
- die cut the rectangle in the towards the top of the plain vellum, discarding the centre piece, then dry emboss using the folder
- lightly adhere to the base card using liquid glue
- die cut another rectangle using the so very vellum, adhere this piece into the rectangle again using liqiud glue
- double ink the sentiment firstly in versaMark and then in fresh freesia, stamp, add embossing powder and heat
- die cut the sentiment and vellum overlay
- lightly adhere the overlay to the sentiment using liquid glue
- die cut the flowers and stems
- lightly colour the white leaves using a blending brush, leaving the leaves with flowers white
- colour the flowers using the stampin' blend
- adhere these 3 layers together very lightly using liquid glue
- adhere to the base card the same way
- attach the sentiment to the base card using dimensional pads
- add the sequins
- make a bow with the linen thread and attach to the card using a glue dot
