Friend Like You meets See A Silhouette DSP

Hello and welcome to my haven in a hectic world, it's nice of you to drop by.

Week 11 for Sue's cards, her daughter says she's loving them.
Although this is quite a dark card, I like it's simplicity.

Measurements are in centimetres
(cb) = card base, (cs) = card stock, (dsp) = designer series paper,  (ep) = embossing powder, (r) = retired, (ss) = stamp set, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest.
  • Start with a (cb) of whisper white (cs) 21 x 14.5 scored at 10.5.
  • The next layer is night of navy 13.9 x 9.9, adhere this to the (cb) using liquid glue.
  • Cut a piece of  'see a silhouette' (dsp) 13.3 x 9.3 for 2nd layer and stamp the dragon flies from the 'friend like you' (ss) in versamark, then heat emboss using white (ep). Then adhere to (cb) using liquid glue.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the 'friend like you' (ss) in night of navy onto a scrap of whisper white (cs) then die cut it using the 'stitched shapes' circle (1), at  the same time using a piece of rich razzleberry (cs) die cut a scalloped edge (2) circle from the 'layering circles' dies.
  • Adhere the sentiment onto the scalloped circle using liquid glue then attach to the (cb) using dimensional pads.
  • Using a piece of whisper white (cs) 16 x6.5 die cut the flowers from the 'friendly silhouettes' dies.
  • Adhere this piece across the bottom of the card using liquid glue and trim off the side edges.
Will be back again soon with more cards, enjoy the rest of your day.
