Really wasn't sure for this year's card but when I saw a similar layout made by Pricilla's paper crafts, I new what to do and loved it!
Materials required for this card are:
Card Stock: basic white thick and normal, sweet sorbet
Designer Series Paper: 22 - 24 in colors 8.5.x 13
Dies: hippo, split card, stylish shapes
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D
Ink: memento tuxedo black
Stampin' Up Blends: parakeet party, smoky slate, sweet sorbet
Stamp Sets: *for the family, hippest hippos

- card base 14 x 28 scored at 14, matt 13.5 x13.5
- on a piece of white card stock stamp the hippo and and husband
- colour the hippo using the blends
- die cut the hearts, hippo and husband
- die cut matt down the left side
- stamp the sentiment on the right side
- emboss the matt
- adhere the dsp using wet glue
- adhere the matt to the base card using wet glue
- attach the elements as desired using a mixture of wet glue and dimensionals
