Lots of Happy meets Tabs For Everything

Hi folks, hope you're having a great day

Todays card is a bright and colourful card for my nephew who went into double figure's this month. My how the time flies.

This is a mix and match card, some current and some retired products, but it just shows how close some of the old colours are to some of the new, like Hello Honey and Mango Melody there's not much in it at all.

To recreate this card follow the guide below:
(cs) = card stock, (dsp) = designer series paper, ⓡ = retired, (nsu) = non stampin' up, (1) = layering dies starting with 1 being the smallest,

All measurements are in centimetres

Card Stock: Bermuda Bay 2 pieces, 21 x 14.8 (card base), 2 x 5.5 (numbers)
Mango Melody 2 pieces, 14.2 x 9.9 (first layer), 6 x 6 (square frame)
Smoky Slate 8 x 8 (swirl)
Whisper White 2 pieces, 6 x 6 (large sentiment) 2 x 1 (small sentiment)
DSP: ⓡ Moonlight 13.6 x 9.9
Dies: Layering Squares (6 & 8), ⓡ Little Numbers, ⓡ Swirly Scribbles
Embossing Folders: Corrugated
Punches: Detailed Trio
Stamp Sets: Artisan Textures, Lots of Happy, ⓡ Tabs For Everything

I let my folder slip when embossing the front of my card base and had to do an extra layer to put it right, so be careful how you place the card in the folder. I used my (nsu) corner punch to round off the card base corners after taking the photo.

Starting with the card base, emboss the front panel using the corrugated folder and round off the corners with the detailed trio punch. At the same time do the corners for the following 2 layers (moonlight (dsp) & larger mango melody (cs)) and adhere all of these to one another using liquid glue.

Now with the larger piece of whisper white stamp the sentiment and background using the lots of happy and  artisan textures (ss) in bermuda bay & smoky slate ink. And with the smaller piece of whisper white, the today from the ⓡ tabs for everything (ss) in smoky slate ink. Then trim down the happy to create a small tag.

With the smaller piece of mango melody (cs) die cut using the (8) die from the layering squares dies.
The rest of the die cutting can be done in one go. A window in the mango melody square using the (6) square, the larger sentiment using the (8) square, the swirl using smoky slate (cs) and the swirly scribbles dies and the age using the small piece of bermuda bay (cs) and the ⓡ little numbers dies.

Place the pieces where you want them and adhere to the card using a mixture of liquid glue and dimensional pads.

Hope you found this easy to follow, if not drop me an email and I will help you out!

Will be back again soon with more cards.
