Hi folks, its's lovely of you to pop by.
Happy 1st Anniversary Alison & Rob!
I always like to give people celebrating their first Wedding Anniversary a paper themed card and this is what I came up with for today's card.
To recreate this card follow the guide below:
(cs) = Card Stock, dsp = Designer Series Paper, ® = Retired, (ss) = Stamp Set
All measurements are in Centimetres.
Card Stock: Sahara Sand 21 x 14.8 scored at 10.5 (scored at 10.5)
Whisper White measuring 2.5 x 10 (stamped wording)
Call Me Clover: 3.5 x 8 (forever)
Paper: 15 x 20
Embossing Folders: Subtle
Stamp Sets: Birch, Make A Difference
Dies: Sweet Silhouettes
Stampin' Pads: Mango Melody, Sahara Sand
Ribbon: ® Grosgrain Daffodil Delight
Start with the first layer of normal copy paper and stamp using the Birch (ss) and Sahara Sand ink. Tear this layer down so it's slightly smaller than the base card (about 2 centimetres on all 4 sides and sponge all the edges in Sahara Sand, crumple it up and then flatten it back out and adhere to the base card using dimensional pads.
Using the Make A Difference (ss) and Mango Melody ink stamp the 4 words on a piece of Whisper White (cs) measuring 2.5 x 10, now trim down each of the individual words to form 4 blocks.
Die cut the 'Forever' from the Sweet Silhouettes dies using Call Me Clover (cs).
Emboss all 5 words using the Sublte folder.
Adhere the words,'Forever' using liquid glue and the rest using dimensional pads.
Tie a knot bow with ® Daffodil Delight Grosgrain Ribbon (current alternative is the Crushed Curry Crinkled Seam Binding) and adhere with glue dots.
Very quick and simple card to make.
Back again soon with more cards
