Intermediate level - die cutting, dry & heat embossing, layering, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

 

Card Stock: barely blush, basic white, soft sea foam

Designer Series Paper: country woods

Dies: delicate whispers, *eyelet blooms,  stylish shapes (5)

Embossing Folders: *eyelet 3D, forever plaid 3D

Embossing Powder: gold

Ink: versaMark

Stamps: *best family ever, phrases & frames

Accessories: *champagne rhinestones, *gold/silver trim combo

 * = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, white layer 10.5 x 14.5 (embossed), 7.5 x 7.5 (circle), 11 x 2 (sentiments), dsp 4 x 13, green 5 x 7 (need 4), pink 5 x2 (need 4)

1. dry emboss the larger white layer using the eyelet 3D folder, then adhere it to the base card using liquid glue
2. die cut the larger pink layer with the eyelet blooms die
3. tear about a 1cm off the dsp strip, then adhere to the pink layer so it is 13 cm wide, using liquid glue
4. adhere this section to the base card using liquid glue
5. die cut the leaves, flowers and circle
6. dry emboss the white circle using the forever plaid folder, then adhere to the card using liquid glue
7. arrange the leaves around the circle and adhere lightly using liquid glue
8. breakdown the fibres of the flowers (use a bone folder, then your fingers)
9. arrange flowers where you want them, then adhere with liquid glue
10. add the rhinestones to each of the flowers
11. stamp the sentiments using the versaMark, then add the gold embossing and heat set.
12. fussy cut the sentiments, then attach to the card using dimensional pads
13. create a big bow and attach using a glue dot
