All Aflutter meets Classic Greetings

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry embossing, heat embossing hot foiling, layering, punching out, stamping

Materials required for this card are:

 

Bundles: All a flutter, *irresistible blooms

Card Stock:  basic white thick, petal pink, vellum, white willow

Designer Series Paper: *texture chic

Dies: classic greetings (hf), *scalloped contours (5), stylish shapes (3,4)

Embossing Folders: *exposed brick 3D

Embossing Powder: gold

Ink: petal pink, versaMark

Accessories: wink of stella, heat gun, new Stampin' hot foil system, hot foil, 

 * = no longer available, (hf) = hot foil, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 23 scored at 11.5, petal pink 14 x 11 (background), 8 x 7 (square), dsp 14 x 11 (scalloped layer), vellum 7 x 6 (butterflies), white willow 5.5 x 5 (flower), 9.5 x 6 (sentiment), foil 9.5 x 6

1. dry emboss the background using the folder, now adhere it to the base card using liquid glue
2. tape the 2 squares together to make a frame
3. stamp the flower
4. stamp the butterflies using versaMark, add the embossing powder and heat
5. punch out the butterflies
6. die cut the scalloped layer, flower and square frame
7. adhere the scalloped layer using liquid glue
8. attach the frame using glue dots
9. distress flower using an embossing tool or your fingers (just roll petals between your forefinger and thumb)
10. attach the flower using a couple of glue dots, then add the wink of stella
11. now attach the butterflies, again using glue dots.

Now for the new part

set up the foiling system and follow the instructions, it is quite simple to do and looks fantastic. I can't wait to get more dies
