Lattice Work Birthday

Intermediate level - bow making, lattice work, dry embossing, layering, stamping
Lattice technique inspired by Ruth Thrushman

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: balmy blue, basic white
Designer Series Paper: beautiful bokeh
Embossing Folders: exposed brick
Ink: balmy blue
Punches: 3 banner
Stamps: *artistically inked, spotlight on nature
Accessories: *22/4 bakers twine pack, *rainbow dots

Start with a basic card base 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, white 14.5 x 10, dsp 1.2 x 11 (6 needed), 30cm twine (cut in half for double bow)
  1. stamp the sentiments at the bottom of the white layer then emboss it using the folder
  2. adhere this to the base card using liquid glue
  3. Insert a dsp strip into the punch till it shows at the outer edge then punch, repeat this for both sides of each of the strips (if you're going to hand flag the strips make the length of each strip 9 instead of 11)
  4. lay out the lattice work and secure to the base card using glue dots
  5. make the bow and attaching to the base card using a glue dot
  6. add the rainbow dots
