Intermediate Level - colour using blending brushes, die cutting, dry & heat embossing, layering, stamping
Materials required for this card are:
Card Stock: basic white, bubble bath
Designer Series Paper: bright & beautiful
Dies: deckled circles (2,7), round we go, spotlight on nature
Embossing Folders: dotted circle 3D
Embossing Powder: white
Ink: versaMark
Stamps: sweetly scripted
Accessories: blending brush, iridescent pearls, paper butterfly accents
when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
- Start with a base card 14. x 21 scored at 10.5, white 13.6 x 10.1, dsp 14 x 4.5 (you'll need 2 of these), white 9 x 9, bubble bath 4 pieces 10.5 10.5, 4.5 x 4.5, 2 x 2, 6.5 x 2
- die cut the 4 circles, and the 2 long strips
- emboss the white layer using the 3d folder (making sure the middle of the circle is where you want it on the card)
- adhere this layer to the base card using liquid glue
- adhere the larger circle and the white circle to the base card using liquid glue
- stamp the sentiment using versaMark, then heat emboss using white. once cool fussy cut
- fold the 2 strips and join them together using liquid glue
- using the smaller of the deckled circles as the base for the wheel, flatten out the dsp and adhere together using liquid glue
- adhere this to the card using liquid glue
- using a blending brush lightly colour the butterfly and adhere to the top of the wheel using liquid glue, then add 3 pearls to the middle of the butterfly (these are not on the photo as they were added later)
- attach the sentiment using dimensional pads
- add the pearls
