Stamping, die cutting, dry embossing, heat embossing, layering
Materials required for this card are:
Card Stock: basic white, smoky slate, silver foil*
Designer Series Paper: In good taste*
Dies: deckled rectangles (8), smooth sailing*, wanted to say
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D
Embossing Powder: black
Ink: cherry cobbler, versamark
Stamp Sets: best family ever
Accessories: adhesive sheets, matt black dots*, red rhinestones*
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
- Start with a base card 14 x 21 scored at 10.5
- matt 1, 14 x 10.5, die cut using the deckled rectangles
- matt 2, dsp 12.5 x 9.4 emboss using the 3D folder, die cut the top and bottom using the slot die, then cut into 3 sections by taking 4 cm off each end.
- die cut the happy birthday using an adhesive sheet on the back
- Layer up the card using liquid glue
- stamp the husband in cherry cobbler
- stamp the rest in versamark and heat emboss using the black.
- fussy cut the words and attach to the card using dimensional pads
- add the embellishments
