Cased from Helen Wadelton - dry embossing, die cutting, stamping and layering - this is a blast from the past card
Materials required for this card are:
Card Stock: basic white
Designer Series Paper: *moonlight
Dies: alphabet A La mode, deckled rectangles (3)
Embossing Folders: *seaside
Ink: *hello honey
Stamp Sets: *memorable moments
Accessories: *21/23 in color jewels
* = no longer available, when using layering dies (1) is the smallest
- Start with a base card 14.8 x 21 scored at 10.5, dsp 10.1 x 14.8, dsp 10.1 x 6, 3 pieces of basic white 9 x 4.5 with adhesive sheeting on the back for letters and numbers
- die cut the rectangle and stamp the happy and "th", then dry emboss it along with the larger piece of dsp using the folder
- die cut the numbers once using dsp with adhesive backing sheet on the back
- removing the adhesive backing, layer up all the letters and numbers
- adhere the larger peice of dsp to the base card using liquid glue
- adhere the second piece of dsp across the top area of the base card using liquid glue
- adhere the white panel, stick down the numbers and add the jewels
- lastly stick down the rest of the letters.
