Hippest Hippos meets Split card

Really wasn't sure for this year's card but when I saw a similar layout made by Pricilla's paper crafts, I new what to do and loved it!

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white thick and normal, sweet sorbet
Designer Series Paper: 22 - 24 in colors 8.5.x 13
Dies: hippo, split card, stylish shapes
Embossing Folders: *subtle 3D
Ink: memento tuxedo black
Stampin' Up Blends: parakeet party, smoky slate, sweet sorbet
Stamp Sets: *for the family, hippest hippos
* = no longer available

  1. card base 14 x 28 scored at 14, matt 13.5 x13.5
  2. on a piece of white card stock stamp the hippo and and husband
  3. colour the hippo using the blends
  4. die cut the hearts, hippo and husband
  5. die cut matt down the left side
  6. stamp the sentiment on the right side
  7. emboss the matt
  8. adhere the dsp using wet glue
  9. adhere the matt to the base card using wet glue
  10. attach the elements as desired using a mixture of wet glue and dimensionals

Cottage Wreaths quick and simple

Just a quick card for someone special


Just received this set and I think it's lovely. It's easy to use and there are loads of dies to go with it. WooHoo at the time of publishing, everything is still in the current catalogue's so should be available until the end of December 2022.

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, note cards & envelopes
Dies: country wreaths
Ink: fresh freesia, soft succulent
Stamp Sets: cottage wreaths
Accessories: adhesive backed sequins & gems
  1. stamp the wreath straight onto the card base.
  2. stamp the bow & berries onto a piece of basic white and die cut
  3. attach the above to the card using dimensionals
  4. position and stamp the sentiment to the base card
  5. add the sequins
