Adorning Hearts Anniversary card

Happy 7th Anniversary Alison & Rob


Intermediate level - die cutting, layering, stamping, use a hybrid folder to die cut & emboss

Materials required for this card are:

Card Stock: basic white, crumb cake, pretty in pink
Designer Series Paper: *falling in love
Dies: adoring hearts
Embossing Folders: adorning hearts hybrid
Ink: secret sea
Stamps: *sweetly scripted
 * = no longer available

Start with a base card 10.5 x 29 scored at 14.5,dsp 14 x 10, off cuts for sentiment  and hearts
  1. adhere the dsp to the base card using liquid glue
  2. stamp the sentiment
  3. die cut the 3 heart"s die with pretty in pink
  4. using the the hybrid folder and the 9 hearts die emboss and cut the 2 larger hearts using the hybrid folder
  5. die cut the sentiment, the 3 heart's die and the 4 hearts die in basic white
  6. position all the pieces and attach the 2 larger embossed hearts using dimensional pads on to the base card
  7. adhere the 3 heart's frame to the base card using liquid glue
  8. adhere the smallest of the pink hearts using liquid glue into the frame and the other 2 using dimensional pads
  9. attach all the other pieces using dimensional pads

Impressions abloom meet Keeping Tabs

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry embossing, layering, stamping
Cased from Vicki Boucher

Materials required for this card are:

Bundles: impressions abloom, *keeping tabs
Card Stock: basic white, cloud cover 
Embossing Folders: exposed brick 3D
Ink: cloud cover, pretty in pink
Stamps: *drizzling droplets
Accessories: *white perfect accents

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, white layer 14.1 x 10.1, basic white 8.5 x 11, cloud cover 8.5 x 11, white off cuts for stamping
  1. stamp drizzling droplets onto the white layer, then adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  2. die cut the 2 ovals and dry emboss the white one
  3. adhere these to the base card using liquid glue
  4. stamp the sentiment, flowers and leave (remember they are 2 step stamping)
  5. die cut all the pieces and dry emboss the flowers with a ball tool (or your nail)
  6. first arrange the larger leaves and adhere using liquid glue
  7. arrange the stamped flowers and leaves adhere the first one using liquid glue
  8. attach all the other flowers using dimensional pads
  9. adhere the 2 leaves using liquid glue or glue dots
  10. add the accents

He's All That bundle meets Delightful Wishes

Intermediate level - die cutting, dry embossing, layering, lining up stamping 

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic beige, secret sea
Designer Series Paper: *he's the man
Dies: *all that, mini alphabet
Embossing Folders: *dashing designs
Ink: secret sea
Stamps: delightful wishes, *he's all that
Accessories: 25/7 in color flat pearls, *bordered ribbon
 * = no longer available

Start with a base card 14.5 x 21 scored at 10.5, secret sea 10 x 14, dsp 10 x 8.5, off cuts for die cutting
  1. dry emboss the top 5.5 cm of the blue layer
  2. adhere the dsp below the embossed area using liquid glue
  3. attach the ribbon using tape and adhere to the base card using liquid glue
  4. add adhesive sheeting to the back of the card for the diamonds and letters
  5. die cut all the pieces
  6. stamp the 2 sentiments onto the label and attach to the card using dimensional pads
  7. attach the diamonds and letters
  8. add the pearls

Catching Butterflies Card

Intermediate level - colouring using wink of stella &  ink, colour using alcohol blends, die cutting, layering, stamping
Inspiration came from looking at cards on Pinterest

Materials required for this card are:
 
Card Stock: basic white, *boho blue
Designer Series Paper: timeless plaid
Dies: perennial postage (1)
Ink: basic grey, calypso coral
Stampin' Blends: *boho blue, cajun craze, darling duck, ivory, petal pink
Stamps: *catching butterflies
Accessories: bakers twine essentials, wink of Jetta, watercolor pencils basic gray
when using layering dies (1) is the smallest

Start with a base card 14.5 x 29 scored at 14.5 & 16.5, white layer 13 x 9, dsp 4 x 10
  1. adhere the dsp to the base card using liquid glue
  2. add the bakers twine and tie a bow, then adhere this section down using liquid glue, so the card opens at the second scoreline
  3. die cut the white layer
  4. position the stamps and ink up with basic gray, then stamp (using second generation)
  5. put a very small amount of calypso coral onto an ink block, squeeze a small blob of wink of stella onto the block and mix together then paint the dress and let it dry (make sure to clean the brush throughly) 
  6. colour the rest of the girl
  7. very lightly colour the net using the basic gray watercolor pencil
  8. now use the blends to colour the butterflies
  9. attach this layer to the base card using dimensional pads
