Eclectic Expressions meets Little Letters

The card for today very simple and bright, using the Stamparatus and hinge method.

I made it for last year and lost it hence the fact some of it's retired product, but having looked in the current catalogue there are plenty alternative stamps and dies.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Measurements are in centimetres, (cs) = card stock, (r) = retired, (ss) = stamp set

Card base whisper white 14.85 x 21 scored at 10.5,  2 pieces of grapefruit grove 10 x 14.3 (1st layer) & 2 x 2.5 (letter A), whisper white 9.5 x 13.8 (2nd layer), night of navy 4 x 2.5 (letter D twice).

Colours are: grapefruit grove, night of navy, whisper white
  1. Place the 2nd layer (cs) in the top right corner of the stamparatus and position the splodge from the (r) eclectic expressions (ss) in line with the first hinge and stamp in grapefruit grove, come down a hinge and stamp again, miss the next hinge and then stamp again for the next 2 hinges, you now have 4 splodge's evenly spaced.
  2. Now flip the plate and position the sentiment over the splodge and stamp in night of navy over each of the splodge's.
  3.  Die cut the A in grapefruit grove (cs), and the D twice in night of navy (cs) using the (r) little letter dies.
  4. Attach the letters to form the DAD using small dimensional pads cut it half.
  5. Adhere the (r) night of navy satin ribbon down the left hand side (I use sellotape at the back of the layer to do this), then do the same with the grapefruit grove grosgrain ribbon then with a strip of the grapefruit grove ribbon about 6cm long, wrap it around the attached piece and tie in a knot to create a bow, trim the ends so they are about equal at both ends.
  6. Attach the 2nd layer to the 1st layer using dimensional pads
  7. Now adhere the 1st layer to the card base using liquid glue.
Hope you enjoyed this card.

Will be back again soon with more cards
